End of year show
Our end of year show at the shop in town is now finished and has moved to the college. I had a great experience looking after the shop and meeting people from outside the college and talking about the work. Now that it is at the college we have more work up so I can showcase more what is really cool!
I am now upping my grades as we only have a few weeks left. I need to get MMM to get into uni.

End of year show
We put up our work yesterday in our exhibition what looks really good! We are mostly ready with a little more tweaking for our exhibition tonight. Here are some photographs that were taken yesterday.
Updating work
Today i updated and refined my work that is going to go up at the end of year show. These are two pieces of my refined work.
FMP designs
I have just finished my final major project for my college course. For my project I re-designed some promotional material for Dover Castle. I got in touch with the marketing manager at the castle who gave me some constraints when creating the poster. I found it hard with the constraints but i managed to follow them.
These are some of the extra material that I created. This includes a membership card, tickets and flyers.Borough Market Posters

I was given a brief to create an advertising campaign for Borough Market. I visited the market and spoke to the head of public relations to get an idea of what they look for in their posters. I created two sets of posters. The first poster was more of a branded poster for local shoppers that i developed onto apparel and the second poster that i designed was targeted more to the tourists that visit the market. I created my own strap line 'From the crate to the plate' so that i could target shoppers within any time of poster what i think worked well.
Narrative images
The big book of typographics
Spider web
Moustache
Bleach type
I created this alphabet using bleach on black ink what i think gave a good look. I also splattered bleach onto the page.
I Love Chocolate
I created this by drizzling melted chocolate onto some paper then photographing it. I edited the type in photoshop and then made the letters into a sentance.
Wates Poster Take 2
Wates Poster
As part of a brief i was asked to promote healthy eating or health and safety on the construction site. I choose to advertise healthy eating. I came to create my poster by creating a strap line and then using imagery and text to promote this.
Frank Kiely
I found this artist when i went on a trip to Southbank with my college. His work is currently being displayed at Bankside Gallery in London. I took notice to his prints because they are simple yet work really well. Frank took a photograph of the scenery what he wanted to create into a print and then took it back to his studio where he drew the photograph using a black ink pen. It then looks like he has photocopied the print onto the computer and then used illustrator to give the block colour what works really well. Frank Kiely graduated from The Royal College of Art in 2002.
Christmas card
My christmas card that i designed that is now available in paperchase. I created this design using lino cut what i inked up red because it is a obvious Christmas colour. The design is of bethleham.
